We celebrate 21 years of servitude to the HBCU Lifestyle!
Our founder William created HBCUConnect.com, originally
named HBCU-Central.com to be a website that provided
the service of socializing with like minds.
Daniel Moss added his talent and helped with the design of
the mission. Yusef Frasier was also there in the 90’s to add
his graphic design skills.
So far there were 3 HBCU Alumni on the team. Where did
I fit into the start of the business? As a alumnae of an HBCU
in North Carolina I was able to help secure some of our first
corporate deals, Nationwide was my first career employer
that agreed to purchase our services.
There were a number of colleges and universities that believed
in our service and still to this day they are our largest group of
clients that source from the HBCU community!
We have many ideas and services that we want to give and pursue
so when we find time to dedicate to those projects we will tackle
them head on. There are so many long time Members who are
the gas that keeps us going. Every member is seen and if you speak
or not you are heard. We thank you and we hope you sense the
appreciation for your partnership.
May we be fruitful in our efforts to help students attend and graduate
from college, or any class that educates,
May we continue to secure and raise great staff to nurture the clients
and members.
May we continue to be a place for communicating the HBCU lifestyle!
It’s Ya Birthday!
