Last week, Vice President Kamala Harris and Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen met with members of the Black Chamber of Commerce via a virtual roundtable to discuss the proposed American Rescue Plan and how it can help black businesses.
Both Yellen and Harris confirmed there will be aid and support for Black businesses, who have statistically suffered far worse than their white counterparts during this economic crisis.
