ELW Takeover beat out 3Ball Minnesota during the Hoop It Up men’s semifinals in Atlanta on Sunday. ELW small forward Brandon Deravine joins BNC’s Aiyana Cristal to discuss the huge upset of defeating the ranked team.
“We had a disadvantage in height, and we knew we were playing against a good team,” Deravine says. “We just had to play hard, make shots and play defense.”
ELW Takeover faces off against No Name Nashville for the championship.
