Boo His A$$! GOP Sen. Ron Johnson 'Drowned Out' by Boos at Juneteenth Event After Voting Against It

A Wisconsin Republican Senator who opposed Juneteenth becoming a federal holiday got booed out of a Juneteenth celebration.

During an interview at Milwaukee’s event, Sen. Ron Johnson was drowned out by a crowd who booed until he left.

Sen Johnson opposed the holiday because he says America doesn’t need another paid day off for federal workers.

In a statement addressing his concerns about Juneteenth, Johnson said:

“It still seems strange that having taxpayers provide federal employees paid time off is now required to celebrate the end of slavery.”

Roland says, “Everytime Ron Johnson talks … Boo his a$$.”
