Four suspects have been arrested in connection to the assassination of Haitian President Jovenel Moïse were murdered in a shootout with police. Two other suspects are being held in custody.
On July 7th at 1 a.m., a group of men stormed into Moïse’s home in Pétion-Ville, Haiti and shot Moïse 12 times before Moïse passed away. First Lady Martine Moïse was also wounded in the shootout and was taken to a hospital in Miami, Florida.
Pulitzer Prize winning journalist Gary Pierre Pierre, who founded the Haitian Times newspaper, joins “Start Your Day” to give the latest on the identity of the suspects.
