In the Digital Streets, rapper Biz Markie has passed away at age 57 due to complications related to Type 2 diabetes.
He passed away earlier in the evening in a Baltimore hospital with his wife beside him. Markie is known for his best single “Just A Friend,” which ranked ninth on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1990.
WNBA star Liz Cambage will not be competing at the Tokyo Olympics. She posted her decision on social media, saying that she is struggling with her mental health.
Richard Sherman releases a statement, stating that he “is deeply remorseful for my actions on Tuesday night. I behaved in a manner I’m not proud of.” Sherman pleaded not guilty to five misdemeanor charges in his DUI arrest.
