A group of Black fathers in a Louisiana high school are making an impact in a major way.
“Dads on Duty” is a group of 40 black men helping create a safe learning environment for students at Southwood High School in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Over three days, 23 students were arrested for fighting prompting this group of Black dads to step in.
On Monday, the founders of “Dads on Duty,” Michael R. Lafitte II, Zachery Johnson, Michael Morgan, Sr. Tracey Harris, and David Tell-see, III from Shreveport, Louisiana.
