Dems Trying To Add Immigration Provision to Pres. Biden Spending Bill

Democrats scrambled on Capitol Hill over a potential new plan to draw more moderate Democratic support for the president’s climate and spending package.

The minimum corporate tax would create a 15% minimum tax on profits to shareholders and would apply to about 200 companies that report more than $1 billion in profits. Also, Democrats are reportedly working behind the scenes to include a range of immigration provisions in the bill.

Chuck Rocha, president of Solidarity Strategies, and John Dorman, senior politics reporter at the Insider, join Charles Blow on β€œPrime” to discuss if Democrats be able to reach a deal on all this before President Biden sets off to Europe for the G-20 summit.

All this and more on β€œPrime.”
