Charges have been dropped against a former Missouri cop who shot a black woman in the back for allegedly stealing from a grocery store.
Julia Crews says she meant to use her taser when she shot Ashley Fountain Hall in 2019 after grocery store workers called the police about the alleged theft.
After a restorative justice mediation session and a $2 million payout from the City of Ladue to the victim, the assault charges were dropped.
