The House of Representatives is set to vote on whether to hold Donald Trump’s former chief of staff in contempt of Congress, following the recommendation from the Jan. 6 select committee.
Mark Meadows is the latest Trump-era official to have his feet held to the fire by the panel after he refused to testify on the trove of documents he initially turned over.
Members of Congress and the former chief of staff even texted about Trump’s desire to have then-Vice President Mike Pence overturn the election results.
