Black Small Business Owners Hope Holiday Sales Will Boost Profits

This holiday season, many Black business owners are hoping a last-minute shopping rush will help their bottom line.

Business owners are really hoping those people get out and do some shopping before the weekend.

According to the American Express Shop Small, 78% of small businesses believe the money coming in during the holidays will have an impact on whether they will stay open in 2022.

Experts say not just last-minute shopping but shopping small has the potential of adding almost $695 billion to the U.S. small business economy.

BNC’s Derrick Lewis has more on the financial boost they’re looking forward to seeing and its importance in keeping these retailers afloat.
