Tense is the best way to describe the ongoing situation in Ukraine, as Russia has stationed more than 100,00 troops on the country’s border amid a war threat.
Chief foreign affairs correspondent Nayyera Haqq joins “DC Today” host Del Walters, noting there are also some fractions between Germany and the U.S., as 60% of the country’s natural gas comes from Russia. Haqq says it’s taking quite some time for the EU to come together to figure out how to go against Putin, which is how he’s gotten away with his actions for months now.
