The contributions of Black inventors have shaped the world, and as we celebrate and dedicate ourselves to Black History Month, BNC is giving them extra praise.
Do you know Patricia Bath? The pioneering ophthalmologist and visionary is the woman behind the Laserphaco Probe, which treats cataracts and preserves and restores eyesight. She was the first Black, woman doctor to receive a medical patent. Marc Lamont Hill of “Black News Tonight” is honoring Bath and all her accomplishments.
