Volunteer Fire Company Shut Down After Alleged Racist Comments

Trigger Warning: Racist Comments

A volunteer fire company in Pennsylvania has been shut down.

The decision came after members were caught in a virtual meeting making alleged racist comments. They were also mocking an eight-year-old Black girl named Fanta Bility, who was killed by police last year in a neighboring town.

Leaked audio from a meeting among several fire companies in Delaware County, Pennsylvania is creating new division and sowing mistrust in the community.

BNC correspondent Astrid Martinez is in Darby Township where residents are demanding accountability.
