The house has voted to pass the Crown Act. This act will ban the discrimination of all natural hairstyles. California was the first state to pass its version of the act in 2019, now dozens of other states have followed.
In Florida, one high school senior named Jacob Rush has been asked to cut his locs in order to participate in his graduation ceremony. Rush, his mother, Latrenda Rush, and their attorney Sue Ann Robinson join Yodit Tewolde on “Making the Case” to discuss.
