Black Owned Bookstore called Mahogany Books. It was founded in 2007 in order to meet the needs of readers nationwide who were interested in books written for, by or about people of the African Diaspora. After being an online only bookstore for the first 10 years, the bookstore was able to open the doors to its first physical store which is located in Washington D.C.
