Less than one week after eight people were killed in shootings at three spas in the Atlanta area, ten people, including a police officer, were killed during a shooting at a grocery store in Boulder, Colorado. Start Your Day hosts Sharon Reed and Mike Hill discussed the shooting with heavy hearts. “We’ve been talking about gun control for so many years and still nothing gets done about it,” Hill said. This shooting was the seventh mass shooting in the last seven days and Reed says the problem isn’t being addressed. “We like to do this dance in America where we’re not quite honest about the problem so we point in that direction,” she said. Out of the ten victims, one has been identified as Boulder Police Officer Eric Talley.
