Dr. Glenda Glover talks new educational program between TSU, Meharry Medical College

Disparities in healthcare for Black and brown communities have highlighted the need for more Black doctors. Meharry Medical College and Tennessee State University signed an agreement for an accelerated educational program that will focus on establishing a pipeline for African-American doctors and dentists who will provide care to underserved communities. Dr. Glenda Glover, President of Tennessee State University and International President of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, joined “Start Your Day” with Sharon Reed and Mike Hill to discuss the program.
