The CDC’s new guidance on masks and social distancing for fully vaccinated people has many confused about pandemic etiquette. For the first time since the pandemic shut down the country and the world, CDC officials say COVID-19 cases dropped in all 50 states this week.
Of the states, only a handful reached President Joe Biden’s goal of reaching 70% of adults being vaccinated by July 4. States like Maryland, Ohio and New York have launched lottery vaccination programs to reach that 70% goal. With restrictions loosening and ending, many are left wondering if COVID-19 is over.
