Roland Martin and the #RMU discussion panel ripped Sen. Tim Scott for his recent comments about the $4 billion debt relief program for Black Farmers on CBS Meet The Press.
The Senator from South Carolina said, βWhen you pass a Covid package with $2 trillion of spending, and in your package you hide in there: If you are a black farmer, we will give you resources, but if you are a white farmer, youβre excluded from those same resources. Thatβs taking from one to give them the other,β Scott said.
He added, βSo weβre going to reverse that and call that a way of creating fairness in our country. That doesnβt really work.β
