Activist and founder of Until Freedom Tamika Mallory joins BNC Live to discuss her work helping families impacted by police violence and her new book “State of Emergency: How We Win in the Country We Built.”
She said that activism has somewhat changed because she and other activists have been able to add their unique ways to call out systemic racism.
“It’s certainly is a continuation. I don’t like to see myself as recreating a wheel, but instead of finding new ways to bring awareness to our issues and also to attract more people to the cause,” Mallory says.
