Charles Blow opens up “Prime” to discuss the first day of the Supreme Court’s new term. Monday marked the first time in 19 months since SCOTUS had in-person hearings because of the pandemic.
“Right-leaning Justices hold a 6-3 majority on the bench, making the body the most conservative it’s been since the 1930s. Legal analysts suggest that this term may produce some of the most conservative rulings in decades on issues like gun control, abortion, capital punishment, and national security,” Blow says.
Blow sits down with Don Calloway, the founder of the National Voter Protection Action Fund, to talk about the SCOTUSβ new term.
