National Guard have been deployed to Washington D.C. ahead of pro trump protests, to quell violence that may erupt in the city.
Trump supporters are protesting today and tomorrow, seeking to bolster Trump’s baseless claims of widespread voter fraud.
Washington’s chief of police and mayor have issued warnings against carrying firearms to protests. Saying doing so is illegal.
These pro trump protests come as the newly sworn in Congress will meet on Wednesday to officially count and ratify electoral college ballots – which is the final step before President elect Joe Biden is sworn into office January 20th.
