All Hands On Deck: After Violence Erupts In Chicago, Activist Calls For 10K Men To Mediate Conflict

Hundreds of people gathered at the Magnificent Mile and other parts of downtown Chicago last night smashing windows, looting stores, confronting police and at one point exchanging gunfire with officers. More than 100 people were arrested this morning. Thirteen officers were injured during the unrest, including a sergeant who was hit by a bottle. A civilian and private security guard were shot and wounded. Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx had this reaction

At Least 35 people were shot and 3 killed in Chicago by Sunday night.
