Allen Weisselberg Removed from Subsidiaries of Trump Organization

The Chief Financial Officer of the Trump Organization has been indicted on tax fraud charges.

This comes after Allen Weisselberg pleaded not guilty in Manhattan to grand larceny and the Trump Organization pleaded not guilty to a scheme to defraud. The organization is accused of awarding Weisselberg particular benefits, and he’s accused of not paying nearly $2 million in state and federal taxes. BNC Justice Correspondent Candace Kelley joins “Start Your Day” with Sharon Reed and Shannon LaNier to discuss this case. She says Weisselberg was removed from about 40 subsidiary companies, and this means the Trump Organization could be trying to distance itself from Weisselberg.
