America’s Murder Rate Increased in 2020 Despite Major Crimes Falling


America’s murder rate experienced its sharpest increase in 2020 since the FBI began keeping a national record of cases in 1960.

The interesting part of the rise in murders is that major crimes overall had fallen nearly 5% in 2020.
