Are Protesters Impacting Jury Selection in Ahmaud Arbery Case?

Jury selection will resume Monday in the trial of the three white men accused of killing Ahmaud Arbery, but “BNC Live” host Laverne McGee has news of another matter that needs to be addressed.

BNC’s Dray Clark is live outside the Brunswick, Georgia, courtroom, where members of the Transformative Justice Coalition just wrapped up a walk-through of Arbery’s neighborhood. A defense attorney in the trial is asking the judge to not allow members of the coalition to peacefully assemble on the courthouse lawn, claiming their banners, singing and signs negatively influences the jury selection process. While the judge has yet to make a decision, he says the coalition has the First Amendment right to gather at the courthouse.
