Charles Blow sits down with nuclear physicist and ordained minister Dr. Chris Jones, who’s running as a Democrat for Arkansas governor in 2022.
Jones would be running against Sarah Huckabee Sanders, former President Donald Trump’s press secretary. If he wins, he would be the state’s first Black governor. The U.S. has only had two Black governors elected.
He wants to give people a reason to be engaged in politics.
