The House passed the voting rights bill; now, it’s in the hands of the Senate where many think it will die. The President and CEO of the National Coalition on Black Civic Participation, Melanie Campbell, will join us as we break down everything that has happened in the last several hours. From speeches from Senator Kyrsten Sinema to Sen. Tim Scott, who says he was offended by Biden’s speech. Representative Hakeem Jefferies will also join us in the discussion.
In a strange case out of Pennsylvania, a Jamaican immigrant goes hunting with his white co-workers and ends up being killed, shot nine times. We’ll talk to the Chair of the Allegany Democratic Black Caucus about the murder investigation of Peter Spencer.
