Republican-led states have entered the next stage in their attacks against critical race theory and it’s called “curriculum transparency.”
According to NBC News, in at least 12 states, lawmakers have introduced legislation to mandate schools to disclose all of their teaching materials online.
This list would include books, articles and videos. This comes as the governors of Arizona, Florida and Iowa called for “curriculum transparency” laws in their speeches this month.
Amala Ekpunobi, co-host of “Will & Amala,” joins Marc Lamont Hill on “Black News Tonight” to discuss the conservatives’ concerns regarding critical race theory in schools, and the recent push for “curriculum transparency.”
All this and more on “Black News Tonight.”
