The pressure is on Sen. Tim Scott of South Carolina to pull enough Republican support to pass police reform in the Senate.
Despite being put out front by the GOP, some believe that he is just buying Republicans time as the 2022 midterm election near, while others don’t think he is that interested in truly getting anything done and others question his motives as it relates to addressing racial strife in the United States.
During his Republican rebuttal to Pres. Joe Biden’s first joint address to Congress, Scott declared there is no racism in America only to find himself the following day in a meeting to resolve issues of race … π€
