Bishop Pearson Calls Out ‘Conspiracy Of Silence’ In Tulsa & The ‘Racists Hiding Behind Their Bibles’

Roland Martin caught up with Bishop Carlton Pearson during the Black Wall Street Festival on Friday and discussed the trauma descendants of the Tulsa race massacre have had to endure over the past 100 years.

Pearson said, “We’re dealing with trauma, PTSD. We’ve been traumatized as a culture 100 years ago today.”

Bishop Pearson added, “We saw smoke and bloody bodies, over 300 – we’re still finding them [in] unmarked graves.”

“That same deadly, negative spirit that kept it a secret for a hundred years – it was a conspiracy of silence”, said Pearson.
