Black, Latino Students Most Impacted by Pandemic


New data revealed that the pandemic has impacted the literacy of minority early-school children.

According to the New York Times, Black and Hispanic students’ reading skills have been impacted among first and second graders. If they’re from low-income families, have disabilities or aren’t fluent in English, then they are the most impacted.
