New data revealed that the pandemic has impacted the literacy of minority early-school children.
According to the New York Times, Black and Hispanic studentsβ reading skills have been impacted among first and second graders. If theyβre from low-income families, have disabilities or arenβt fluent in English, then they are the most impacted.
