Black Voters Are Key for Democrats To Win VA Governor Race


All eyes are on Virginia as Democrats try to keep the state blue.

In the state that used to be the capitol of the Confederacy, Democrats are betting on the political power of people of color. Stacey Abrams, Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms and Vice President Kamala Harris have campaigned for Terry McAuliffe for governor.

New polling shows Republican nominee Glenn Youngkin and McAuliffe are deadlocked in the race, each with 46% of the vote.
