Whoopi Goldberg has been placed on a two-week suspension from “The View” after apologizing for comments in which she said the holocaust was not about race.
In a statement, ABC president Kim Godwin said quote, “While Whoopi has apologized, I’ve asked her to take time to reflect … and learn about the impact of her comments.” Brittney Cooper, Ameshia Cross and Candace Kelley join Sharon Reed’s table on “Start Your Day” to share their thoughts on Goldberg’s comments and subsequent discipline.
