Tuwisha Rogers-Simpson, vice president of brand marketing at the Nation Museum of African American Music in Memphis, discussed what the museum offers and how it sets itself apart from most others across the nation.
βWhat we have here is something exciting; 56,000 square feet of information, data, celebration of African American music, and whatβs so different about our museum is that we have a timeline that is based on history and it talks about the intersectionality of history and music,β Rogers-Simpson said.
The Nation Museum of African American Music has several more events planned throughout the year and invites everyone to come experience the virtual events.
