According to Johns Hopkins University, the U.S. has now surpassed 700,000 COVID-19 deaths.
Red states have become political battlegrounds in the fight against COVID and against critical race theory.
Governor Gavin Newsom announced California will require students in kindergarten through 12th grade get the COVID-19 vaccination once the FDA gives full approval for younger students. California will be the first state in the country with such a mandate.
New York City public schools unveiled a groundbreaking Black studies curriculum for all students, K-12. Members of the city council have secured $10 million for next year’s budget to fund the Education Equity Action Plan.
