CDC Eases Indoor Mask Mandates for Fully Vaccinated People
On Thursday, the White House COVID-9 Response Team and Public Health Officials held their annual briefing to update the public on its response to fighting the ongoing pandemic. CDC Director, Dr. Rochelle Walensky, announced new evidence about mask use indoors. Walensky says anyone who is fully vaccinated can “participate in indoor and outdoor activities, large or small, without wearing a mask or physical distancing.” The CDC also recommended use of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine for children between the ages of 2 and 5.
