Charges against the Trump Organization have been filed for running a 15-year tax scheme to defraud the government. The Manhattan district attorney’s office, which has been conducting the investigation in partnership with New York State attorney general, has accused one person for illegally avoiding taxes of $1.7 million in income.
Attorney and founding partner of the Cook Group, Gary Casimir, and former Watergate prosecutor, Nick Ackerman, joined “Prime” with Charles Blow to discuss the charges already filed and where this can lead the cases to more criminal charges. Also, they discuss possible defense tactics that the company may try to employ in any of the proceedings to come.
