Charges Of Attempted Murder Dropped For Black Florida Father Defending His Family
Last month we told you about the story of a Florida father facing attempted murder for shooting at police officers during a late-night attempt to execute a search warrant.
The good news, the state dropped all charges against Corey Marioneaux Jr.
But his lawyers are still seeking justice for 1-year-old Cylen, who was injured in police custody. The police and Cylen’s brother give different accounts of how the child was hurt.
On Friday, Roland Martin spoke with Corey Marioneaux Jr. from Florida and his attorney James A. Bryant from Los Angeles about the attempted murder charges being dropped and the latest on the condition of Marioneaux’s 1-year-old son.
