Charles Blow sits down with Ezra Levin, co-founder of the Indivisible Project, about the “For the People Act” failing in the Senate today, thanks to Senate Republicans using the filibuster.
President Joe Biden is facing criticism for not pushing hard enough for the legislation to pass. Levin called out Biden for seemingly not doing enough to make sure that the sweeping voting rights legislation passed.
“I believe the president supports this bill,” Levin tells Blow. “The question is, ‘when is he going to show up to this fight?’”
