President Joe Biden became the first sitting U.S. president to visit Tulsa, Oklahoma, to commemorate the Tulsa Race Massacre.
Biden spoke about wanting to close the racial wealth gap, which Blows says was a good move, but that the president hasnβt gone far enough to address issues from Black Americans, such as voting rights.
βWhat we need is national legislation to protect Black voters and other voters. Period,β Blow says. βWe need Biden to do more and to do better.β
Blow is joined by economist and author Julianne Malveaux to talk about what Black Americans want from Biden.
