Charles Blow speaks with activist DeRay McKesson on the recent numbers of Black people killed by police since the Derek Chauvin guilty verdict.
McKesson says that while President Joe Biden’s power is limited in reigning in the over 18,000 police departments across the country, he possesses presidential powers that can address many of the issues present.
“The real change comes at the local level,” McKesson tells Blow.
