The Florida Rights Restoration Coalition, a grassroots organization is on the move advocating for the restoration of voting rights for returned citizens and encouraging everyone to vote in this year’s election.
Republicans are consistently trying to block access to the ballot by trying to intimidate voters, institute poll-taxes and depress voter turnout.
Desmond Meade, voting rights activist and Executive Director of the Florida Rights Restoration Coalition told Roland it’s time to “clapback” against efforts to suppress the vote, intimidate voters and bar access to the vote during their Free the Vote rally and march which is taking place Saturday, October 24th.
