Residents in several small towns and cities across the country have had their quality of life substantially impacted for years by insufficient water structures.
For those living in these small municipalities, President Bidenβs $1 trillion infrastructure plan signals hope their water woes would finally be addressed. The plan earmarks over $55 billion to improve national waste, storm, drainage and drinking water systems.
But there has always been the worry that the plan gives too much autonomy to states to allocate infrastructure funding how they see fit with little to no federal oversight.
