There is some encouraging news regarding the vaccination rate.
Seventy percent of American adults have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. However, it comes at a time were COVID-19 cases and deaths are also on the rise. The majority of the hospitalizations are unvaccinated people. Texas has surpassed New York in COVID-19 deaths and trails only the country’s most populous state, California, in deaths since the start of the pandemic.
