More than 100,000 new cases per day … That is the new daily average of US COVID-19 cases.
That exceeds the number of transmissions last summer before vaccines were even available.
As of Friday the United States has tallied 36,305,074 cases, with a death toll 631,899.
The majority of new infections are among those who are unvaccinated.
Dr. Anthony Fauci urges vaccines are the best protection against more severe illness and death.
According to White House Data Director Dr. Cyrus Shapar, half of the US population is fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
As the number of infections continue to rise there is a large chasm developing between the vaccinated and the unvaccinated. Many are now calling the latest surge in COVID-19 the pandemic of the unvaccinated.
