Darnella Frazier Is Prosecution’s Final Witness as They Rest Its Case


The prosecution rested its case in the federal trial for three former Minneapolis police officers.

Tou Thao, Thomas Lane and J. Alexander King are all charged with failing to provide medical aid to George Floyd while Derek Chauvin kneeled on his neck for more than nine minutes.

Before resting its case, the prosecution called their most important witness, Darnella Frazier, the young woman who recorded the now-infamous cell phone video that thrust this case into the national spotlight.
