Democrats scrambled on Capitol Hill over a potential new plan to draw more moderate Democratic support for the presidentβs climate and spending package.
The minimum corporate tax would create a 15% minimum tax on profits to shareholders and would apply to about 200 companies that report more than $1 billion in profits. Also, Democrats are reportedly working behind the scenes to include a range of immigration provisions in the bill.
