Almost two weeks ago, the hip-hop community lost a real one in the legendary Kangol Kid.
The hip-hop producer, songwriter, break dancer and emcee belonged to music group UTFO. His life and legacy will be honored on Jan. 2 at a memorial service in Brooklyn, New York. It will be a celebration of his life and a reunion of hip-hop legends.
DJ Grandmaster Dee, a member of the legendary Whodini group, joins Shannon LaNier on “Start Your Day” to remember one of his best friends and his legacy in the hip-hop world.
